1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using JNV Kaimur (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. The service
The App provides community-oriented content related to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Kaimur — for example house and batch information, galleries, media playback, and links to third-party profiles or messaging apps. The App is provided “as is” by Tech Sparrow (“we”, “us”).
The App is not an official publication of any government body, school, or Navodaya organization unless expressly stated elsewhere in writing by the relevant authority.
3. Eligibility & acceptable use
You agree to use the App only in compliance with applicable laws and these terms. You will not:
- Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the App or related services;
- Use the App to distribute malware or unauthorized commercial spam;
- Misrepresent your affiliation with any person or institution.
4. Content & third-party links
Text, images, audio, and links shown in the App may originate from community sources or third-party platforms. We do not control third-party websites or apps (such as social networks or chat services) and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Opening external links is at your own risk.
5. Intellectual property
The App’s design, branding (where applicable), and original materials are owned by us or our licensors. Community or historical content may be subject to separate rights held by contributors or institutions; you may not copy or redistribute such materials from the App for commercial use without permission from the rights holder.
6. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TECH SPARROW AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (TYPICALLY ZERO WHERE THE APP IS FREE).
8. Changes
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will indicate changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, except where prohibited by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the App or any feature where reasonably necessary for legal, security, or operational reasons.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts located in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction subject to any rights you cannot waive under local law.
Adjust jurisdiction if you and your counsel choose a different governing law or venue.
