Just QR ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile application that allows you to create and scan QR codes. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the app. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

• Data you enter: Text, URLs, or other content you type to generate QR codes is processed only on your device. We do not send this data to our servers.
• Camera: The app uses the device camera only to scan QR codes. Video or images from the camera are processed on your device and are not stored or transmitted by us.
• Photo library / storage: If you choose to add an image to a QR code or save a QR code image, access is used only for that feature. Images you select or save remain on your device or in your chosen save location (e.g. Photos, Downloads).
• App preferences: Settings such as theme (light/dark/system) and whether you have completed onboarding are stored locally on your device.

How We Use Information

• We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to our servers.
• QR content you create or scan is processed locally. Opening a link (e.g. UPI, YouTube, website) uses your device's normal mechanisms (e.g. browser, other apps); those services have their own privacy policies.

Third-Party Services

The app may use third-party libraries for features such as QR generation, scanning, and opening links. These libraries may have their own data practices; we do not control them. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing.

Permissions

We request only the permissions needed for the app to work:

• Camera: To scan QR codes.
• Photo library / storage: To let you add an image to a QR code or save QR code images (e.g. to Photos or Downloads).
• Network (optional): Only when you open a link (e.g. URL, UPI) from a scanned QR code; your browser or the opened app handles that.

You can revoke permissions in your device settings at any time.

Data Security

Because we do not collect or store your data on our servers, the main risk is local to your device. We recommend using your device's lock and keeping your OS and the app updated.

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
